Are the kofiau locality gtp's always yellow?
No. It is quite proven that they turn green on several occasions... It is not yet proven if all turn green or some stay yellow...

That is an awesome pair displaying the best of both "morphs" of this locale type. I really wish you the best of luck with that pair in the future, thanks for sharing!!
In this pair the male is yellow, the female pretty lime green

nice pair indeed, but i wouldnt say my female stayed yellow just yet.i think many canary owners counted their chickens way to early only to be disapointed later.i can notice a couple green scales even on the female, that may mean a trigger of a color chage on its way or not,but you just never know with these guys.
the only real thing you know is that the overwhelmingly, vast majority that come in bright yellow,do indeed turn green after being in captivity a few months -a few years.but congrats on the pair non the less.considering over 90 percent of the canaries do turn green eventually, if not all of them,if yours did stay that color youd have one very special snake indeed.
