Snake figure?

hgiddings Aug 08, 2003 07:37 AM

Ok I give up...I love looking at photos of everybody elses BPs but I've noticed that mine seems to have a bit of a pencil neck even compared to other peoples hatchlings. Mine is supposedly around 2-3 months about 19" long. He or she is nicely rounded, eats well, and is captive bred so why the pencil neck? Do snakes have different figures just like people? I want my snake to look voluptuous like everybody elses! Any suggestions or ideas? I'll have to get a photo.

I worried about this too when my first snake Larry was a baby... i thought his head was way to big to be supported by such a small neck, but you know what i just gave it time and now he's huge.. Neck and all...Dont worry about it, every ball is a little different just like people... Im sure he will grow into a healthy adult and will always make you proud...

Sincerely,
