Nice snake. I had some Edistos from kevin Enge about 4 years ago. Did yours eat from mice from the get go? or did they require scent?

one female, is starting to take scented but the male is a pain in the ass and wants nothing to do with mice - no matter what I try..
My others took mice from the start.
I think cooling him will do it, but I want more weight on him before I shut him down for the winter.
