Flavia Guimaraes Aug 08, 2003 07:53 AM

He is a boy, your first guess was right! Leonardo is a boy, i just discovered that!Well i was just behind him when he went to the bathroom and guess what i saw? There is another (the last one) MTS to be sold at the same petshop where i bought him.If i was sure it was a girl i would buy it to start breeding them, but how can i know?lol!

Hi Flavia,

Good deal! On the M-F issue, Other than the C/A Method, You have Chris's shed male skin method, More risky, introduction of a male, Probing (I don't recommend with Corucia's. All you'll end up with is one pissed Skink!)or visual judgement by C/A lines anyway -head vs body size. Otherwise, That's about it!
You could just play Solomon Roulette and just buy it. Another opportunity may come along and this way you'll have a back-up. By the way, out of curiousity, In American dollars, what did you pay for your Corucia?

Anything else, just let me know.

Sincerely,
Brian

They were asking USD 210 dollars (equivalent of USD 210 but in Ringgits, the local currency)but as im an old client ( i bought my 2 BTS in that shop too)they made me a discount. I suppose i paid around USD189 USD.

Both MTS (the one that i bought and the one that is still there) were living in the same tiny aquarium and apparently they didnt fight.Do you think thats a sign they are male and female or they didnt fight because they still are juvies?

By the way, are MTS pick eaters like BTS?Im used to my igs that devore bowls and bowls of greens in a few minutes but apparently Leonardo, my MTS, doesnt eat very much.

Flavia,

Yes, Corucia's can fast and be picky-but nothing like Blue-ongues. It is most likely due to their size that they got along so well rather than F/F or M/F.

Thank you for the info on cost. It was interesting.

Sincerely,
Brian
