The Ellen Commercial

PHRatz Dec 09, 2006 09:38 AM

Nobody has mentioned this but have you see the Ellen Degenerous (sp) credit card commercial about her life long dream to work with animals?
Have you seen Shelly the animal she asked to run out to Star Bucks real quick to get her a cup of coffee?
Shelly is one gorgeous sulcata! It's so rare to see one that is not pyramided, I just love to see that!

I don't have a TV, so I haven't seen it. Its nice to hear there is a non pyramided sulcata out there in the public eye! I know so many "non tort" people who think they are supposed to look like that!

I saw that one too! every time it comes on I try to get my wife to come see but she always seems to walk in just after the Tort's big scene.... O'well, I would suspect that there will be many more torts in the movies and on T.V. since so many new Sulcatas have been bread and sold and kepts as pets over the last few years.

I finally got my DH to see it. He was impressed too.
I saw a sulcata in a Tommy Lee Jones movie.. can't remember the name but they're supposed to be in NM in the 1800s & we see a "desert tortoise" walk by in one scene.. a SULCATA ROFL!!

I saw a commercial for that Borat movie too.. there's a healthy looking sulcata in that commercial as well.
I haven't seen the movie, just the commercial.
