het green ghosts

rough_necked Dec 09, 2006 04:01 PM

Well my wife let me get another ball and i wound up getting 2. I picked up a nice normal female with a reduced pattern and a Het green ghost male.

If i breed the het to the female would i get 50% het green ghost? If i bought a het orange ghost or just a orange ghost would i get any ghosts with them not being green?

Can anyone tell me what the difference between the ghosts is?

It is not that i really cared to make ghosts, but it is a nice looking snake and the price was right(75 bucks)

Have a good day

Chuck

unless there is more to green ghosts than I am aware of (ie more than one recessive trait involved) you will get 50% hets offspring. Or at least each egg has a 50% change to carry the recessive gene. Of course no way to tell them apart, will have to breed them to prove them out.
