i have two baby retics a tiger and normal. i have a friend that went out a got a retic a couple of months ago and he didn't know the sex of it so today he brought it over and it a female but the damn thing is mean as helllll.. he got it becouse it looked nice it a tiger retic . he want it mean but i told him how big they get and what can happen if they are mean .
well what i'm trying to say is should i try to get the retic and so nothing bad will happen or let it be ?

I think you should help him try an com the snake down. Not try to get it from him. Most retic's will com down if you just take time to handle them a good bit.

Well, to be perfectly honest, if you're friend wants it to be mean, he definitely doesn't need to have it. That's not to say that your friend won't one day become a responsible snake keeper, though.

If I were you I'd first try to reason with him, to get him to stop and think rationally. An 10-ft ticked retic is a force to reckon with, let alone one over twice that size. The bigger they are the harder they are to tame for lack of being able to control them.

If you can't get him to see the light of day then I would try to get it from him.

Not only is your friend going to endanger his own life, but he's also going to endanger the life of the snake and possibly other people.

Buy a sand boa and trade him out of it. A sand boa is about the only thing he'd be safe with. Well, maybe a ribbon snake, too.
