Whos got anthills??

zach_whitman Dec 10, 2006 02:15 AM

To my knowlege there are only a handful of people in the country that have this species. I am curious how many perthensis there actually are and I was considering creating a sort of informal stud book. I feel like this species could really grow in popularity and it would be nice if the US population started off with well outbred animals.

So, If you have any anthills lets see em. And if you know anyone else who has any I'd like to hear about it.

I have a reverese trio.

Cheers

I got 1.3 adults. I think Frank Retes in tucson has a female. It would be neat to have a list of keepers.

We (tinypythons) have 1.2. Hopefully breeding them in a year or two. Anyone know what a good adult female breeding weight would be?

Thanks for the info.

I have seen an adult breeding female at 21 inches. (Actual length not just eyeballing) Don't know about weight for sure. My oldest is a two year old male and he seems to be leveling off around 120 grams.

cheers
