Breeding question?

stevebp Dec 10, 2006 01:36 PM

I have an albino female and wanted to know what should i breed her to. Should it be my pastel male to make 100% hets and pastel 100% hets.I also have 100% hets (or so they say)that i bought from a certian company that was found to be untrue to thier customers, and try to prove them out.Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks Stevebp

If you have any doubts about the het males, do not use them. It's not worth the time you would lose (even though, all offspring would be 100% het albino). You could opt to find a true breedable het male - prices on them are really quite low.

Some question the usefulness of pastel-albino crosses. If that's all you have, I'd go that route. Either way, have fun and enjoy.

If it were me I would either buy an 05/early 06 visual albino male or a spider male. If you can't afford those I would get a proven breeder het male and just produce a few visual albinos. I don't think there is much of a market for pastel albinos.
