This is my first year breeding my GTP's. I had previously bred ball pythons for many years. Now I have lowered the tempetures, and after about 3-4 weeks I put the pair together. They bred non stop for 4-5 days. I then Seperated them, and have continually put them together and seperated them every few days. The male went off feed as soon as I lowered the temps. Now Everytime I put them together I still see copulations during the first night, but then they seperate for the next couple days. Its been about 1 month of them breeding. Now with ball pythons, the female would not ovulate until you raised the temperatures back up. Is this the same for the GTP's, or do they ovulate before the temps go back up? I was planning on raising temps around Jan 1. So will she ovulate with the temps still low, or do I need to raise the temps to get her to ovulate?
