Hoping ya'll could answer a few questions for me. How is microchipping done in turtles, mainly box turtles? Who can do it? What brand is most commonly used, and with which company are the numbers registered? Does anyone have personal experience with it, either as part of a field study or for IDing their own animals?

I'm considering writing a story for a newsletter, but would also like to know to help educate some of the dog rescuers I know.
