Syspila X Temporalis Integrades???

cn013 Dec 11, 2006 12:43 AM

Hey just curious if anyone has tried to cross red milks and coastal plains milks? I'd actually assume that save very small babies that would be a pain (potentially) to start off this shouldn't be too difficult... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated -- I am currently about to cool my adults and have no adult male temporlais to match my girl and would like to try and mate her this spring. Thanks, Chris.

Just my opinion, but do you have something other than a closely related similar appearing animal to try to breed your temporalis with? The offspring you would produce from this cross would most likely look very much like either of the parent ssp. could in the future be accidently sold as such by someone other than yourself. Try her with a male alterna or calligaster if you have one. I think you could get some increible looking babies from either father.

Hmmmn actually I do see your point. I suppose my thought was moreso to see the amount of variety ( or lack thereof ) in the potential offspring. One thing I did not forsee was the potential for someone to attempt to misrepresent the animal... Ugh, sadly though I have neither any mole nor prairie kings and although I do have a lil' alterna she won't help me much. I have been wrapping my mind around the idea of that and I'd have to say -- those probably could be amazing!
