The piture didn't show. Its my first time tring to post a picture. I'll try again.

These tortoises appear to be an adult pair of Indian Stars. Sri Lankan Stars have more pyramiding than the ones in this picture have as a rule, plus their patterns have more yellow lines.
Do you think 500 dollars would be a reasonable price for the pair? It is a 1.1 pair. They are more than likely WC. I have seen prices for adults before but they seem to vary quite a bit. What do you think?
If you are in the US or EU that is a very good price. If you are anywhere else that is average or a little bit on the high side of average. They are very nice looking animals though.

Hello,
Looks(?) like the pet shop is either in japan or taiwan. Is
this correct? I concur with EJ, that is alittle high. Good-
luck!!
It is in Japan. They always have stars for sale. Some times they are cheaper but that seems to be the average price they go for here. I just wasn’t sure about the pricing compared to the states. I saw on Prehistoric Pets (I think it was them) that they had one female for sale priced at $1500. I would love to purchase them but I think it would be too much trouble bringing them back into the states. I read somewhere that you can bring CITES II listed (PETS) animals into the US as long as it is a part of an estate move and not for commercial purposes. But all that legal stuff gets pretty confusig so I will probably purchase a pair when I return to the States.
