How long??

I have multiple eggs incubating right now. I had 4 previous eggs hatch between 70 and 75 days. I have 2 that have incubated for 83 days and was wondering if that is normal. Whats the max for incubation? Is it possible that they can incubate for 100 days? or more? and be succsessful hatchings?

Well, it depends.
I've had crested eggs hatch at about 60 days and some hatch at 100 days. It all depends on temperature. The warmer the temp, the quicker the incubation time. When kept at about 84, they hatch real quick, at under 70, they take a long time to hatch.
The disadvantage of quick hatches might be the health of the new born. Some feel it is better to go longer term with incubation to benefit the young geckos. There is also some thoughts about cresteds sex being determined by temps as well.

What temperature are you incubating at?
