the looks of greybanded

fauxsanity Dec 11, 2006 01:30 PM

Why is it whenever I see a greybanded kingsnake I think of cornsnakes? Is it the shape of the head or the eyes? I can't put my finger on it. Believe me, I'm no expert (got into snakes about a year ago)but I honestly see something different in them from the other kings

They aren't getula, they are mexicana complex. I don't see corn at all, just a more milksnake like king. Fat blocky jaw, flat short face, still a very cool king.

I agree Todd, it is a cool looking king and I'm sure I'll add a couple to my collection when I get more experience under my belt and my knees heal from all the begging I had to do for the two brooksi I aquired last month(my wife is under the crazy notion she needs a new washing machine/not more snakes in the house)..LOL.
