Took this two years ago on hyw 277.It was only about ten feet off the ground but the cut it was on was straight up about 40 feet and very slick.Very cool seeing this.

That is because most captive bairdi are overweight! They are almost always slender snakes in the wild.

I wish I had a pic of the huge 5 1/2 foot subocs we saw in langtry and just left it right on the cut.Did you get a pic of it?I don't remember.

Hahahah Shannon, I probably got him 'cause my male from the 40' west cut is now 68 ", I am putting him in for the record suboc! I can't find an alterna to save my ass but hunted till sunup and saw this bruiser heading over the top. I ran up and snagged him on his way over.

really hard to say but who knows???LOL..
I usually leave the really large ones as they are pretty set in there ways and don't always do good.
I did pick up a female that was over five foot two years ago for a friend and he says she is doing great.
This guy is an on and off eater of various rodents. He is the calmest snake in the collection and will come out to check out what I am doing. I hope to pair him up next season.
