I was wondering if any of yall had built your own enclosure for your chameleon. If anyone would be kind enough to post photos or basic instructions on how to put one together I would appreciate it. I'd also love to see different peoples set-ups for ideas. (Plus it would be a way for you to show off your fancy set-ups)

I just put some ideas in my head and began building it piece by piece. My advice would be to take your time, think ahead, and really research/explore your local hardware store for parts/ideas.

The 2 things I would change if I built it again are to put a solid back for the entire backside of the cage (have plastic 3/4's of the way down) and to put in some sort of 5" splash plates around the bottom of the cage to prevent droplets from the mist system from splashing out of the cage and onto the floor.

Thanks for the post, What are the different buckets at the base of your enclosure for? I can guess the one is to collect the runoff from a drip system. Also what is the blue thing on the left? A misting system? Very nice set up.

The other bucket is the resevoir for the mist system. The blue thing is a cool mist humdifier plumbed into the cage. Below is a link for an article that covers that.

Here's some pics of my Meller's enclosure. Probably bigger than you need as they require alot of room! Its 5'x4'x4'.
