anyone with saltwater hybrids or niles?

seacroc Dec 12, 2006 08:18 PM

I'd love to see some pics, especially juvenile/adults. I heard the saltwater hybrids don't need salt water. Also, I've seen some 6 foot niles that were incredible in color and appearance. Any ideas how the saltwater hybrids compare in look and temperament?
Thanks

All of the Saltwater x Siamese hybrids that I have seen which were bred here in the USA look basicly identical to pure Siamese crocodiles.

The Saltwater x Siamese hybrids that I have seen that were bred in Asia look basicly identical to pure Saltwater crocodiles.

I have no idea why this is, but this is my observation and in my oppinion the hybrids bred here in the US dont compare to the ones I have seen from Asia.

Even just look at the giant hybrids at Parrot Jungle and Alligator Adventure, these came from Asia and they look like Salties not Siamese
