How many people here feed frozen/thawed and how many feed live? I am new to snakes and I like to talk about them so I am trying to get this forum going. LOL

Feeding live has a lot of downsides. For one, you either have to breed your own or go buy one for every feeding and they're more expensive than frozen at every shop I've been to. You could also get your snakes used to live, which could make for feeding problems when they get older if you want to switch them to F/T. Or, you keep feeding live and increase the mouse size and one of the mice decides to take a bite out of your critters eye or some such.
So, to sum: F/T = cheaper, less hassle, 0 danger of wounding, freezing kills many parasites. Good luck,
-P
And, just because I feel like attaching one of my favourite pictures:

-----
1.0.0 Normal corn snake (Frito)
1.0.0 Creamsicle corn (Tang)
0.1.0 Ghost corn (Raynham)
1.1.2 Bay of LA rosy boas (Rivet, Cali, and Cali's unnamed babies)
0.1.0 Cape Gopher (Mole)
0.0.1 African House Snake (Casa)
I feed frozen/thawed. No risk of injury for the snake, it's cheaper, and it's more convenient.
This is Violet, my Lavender Corn.
