I am wondering how to tell if an albino is in the blue? I know in anery type snakes they will actually become blue but how do you tell on an albino?

Sometimes you just can't. They do not turn blue, just an opaque sorta haze over. The ventrals will display the same thing a couple days before the eyes with mine. The skin will dull, and become not quite so shiny, than they shed in a few days.

Unless you spend a lot of time admiring your snakes, (which I do daily) it can be very hard, and even if you do, it can still be difficult to tell with albinos.

Stop Inhumane and Illegal Practices

The only way I noticed my albino was about to shed is that his skin felt kind of baggy when I handled him a couple of days before he shed. I was kind of concerned that his skin was baggy, but then he shed 2 days later. Other than that it's very difficult to see. I have a snow corn too, and I can only tell if her eyes are hazy.
