New Tricolor hypos

vjl4 Dec 13, 2006 11:22 AM

Hello all,

Just wanted to show off some new tricolor hypos I picked up from Jaap Kooij this year. Wish I could brag about producing them, but maybe in a few years I can brag about a candy cane or two.......

WONDERFUL!

I have a pair of hets in brumation right now, I cannot wait to breed them! I also have a female '06 tricolor hypo and will be getting a male '06 from him later this month.

I wish I had some photos to justify ... I just signed the form to receive 1.3 adults from Jaap which produce all the great tricolors. I also have 1.2 hatchlings coming which I picked out in person. Can't wait!

Vincent how did you get your tricolors from Jaap? Just curious.

Hey Jawn,

I did not get them yet, they are in route as we speak (with yours I bet) but I could not resist posting the pics until they got here. I am on pins and needles till they arrive. Jaap produces some very cool looking hypos.

Best,
Vinny

I know the feeling .. I am very anxious! These tricolors are very different from the ones he produced last year. They have different parents. Instead of the really wide cream colour it is very narrow and there are pinstripes. Very cool efect on such a clean strain of tricolors. The female in your pics is like the male I picked out - almost an extreme colour and should have very little tipping.

I look forward to him sending some pics of his only hold back male .. it is stunning.
