large water monitors

seacroc Dec 14, 2006 05:53 AM

So does anyone have pics or know of any large 6-9 foot water monitors? I've been looking along time for pics, personal experience, or to acquire one. I've got an awesome, very naturalist 6x4x2 enclosure with a waterfall and green carpet that looks just like grass so I'm totally prepared. Thanks again. Last line was facetious.

All you have to do is go to the Brookfeild zoo, last I was there they had a huge water monitor!!
Also you may want to rethink the carpet idea for obvious reasons.
The cage size you mention would be good start for a young water monitor. Go to the zoo and I'm sure you will agree!

Hey Mike. Thanks for the info. And of course I was joking about the cage : )
I was rather hoping you knew someone who wanted to part with it.
Thanks

Check out the swap, you'll find one there.
Seems as though a few post were deleted!?
I asked in one of those posts what you keep in the way of Monitors?
I guess someone was offended by my Monitor related question to you.
Go figure!
