What size are you looking for?
I breed crix mostly because I use tiny ones for my son's salamanders and feed them off small. The biggest I have grown them to is 1/4inch. I go through bigger ones a lot and it takes time and room to grow them by the numbers I need so far.
What I do is throw 50 or 100 adult crix into a bin with 1/2" of soilless potting mix misted damp, with a couple shallow pie pans of the same, stacked in there too. Then a couple/three egg cartons to hide in. Food and water dishes. They get misted and tossed some greens each morning. Keep 'em warm end of room temps and like magic in a couple three weeks you will see all sorts of little dots running around.

Watch your temperatures. Room temp is way too cold. Crix won't breed if it gets colder than 80*. I keep mine at around 90*
