So did anyone read the Peachy article in the Feb edition of Reptiles Mag?
Thoughts?
Knowing nothing of Peachies I can't speack for the speific information but thought the info on the enclosure was decent. I find it a rare thing when someone recommends a decent size cage for a single captive animal. Granted 10' x 6' x 6' H is not the dream enclosure but is far superior to the 6x4x2 enclosures some on this forum think is appropriate for Salvator an animal we all know is far larger than a typical Peachy.
Some of the other things mentioned like substrate depth and basking spots, were totally different than what is often recomended in previous articles on Varnids. These, aside from the specifics, are very important things the begineer keeper should be exposed to IMO.
Interested to see what others thought of the article.
Perhaps continued articles of this caliber may help educate those that think a heated box with a window and green carpet, is an appropriate enclosure.
Best of Luck to everyone.
