Speaking of crosses

FR Dec 14, 2006 08:02 PM

Did anyone see that 7 legged, both sexed deer in the MSN news. How weird is that?

Also I hatched some V.gilleni/V.caudolineatus crosses in the spring. Now one of those babies(caudoleni) is gravid. It will be interesting to see what comes from this. Cheers

That's interesting about the hybrid Varanid, thanks for sharing. Do you know what species the father is of? Or is the father another of the V. caudolineatus x V. gilleni cross? I look forward to hearing about the success rate of any eggs that are laid, and seeing the pattern of the offspring.
Also, please no messed up combination of the names of the species, even if it is a hybrid. That is the incorrect method of designating the hybrid (I believe it is as I did above), and just creates confusion.

Yes, they are caudoleni X caudoleni. And will call them whatever I want, hahahahahahaha I made um, I can name um.

Of course I will entertain a "better" name, got one? My name sounds like an Italian noodle. Kinda why I like it. Cheers
