MORPH of the Week

PINSTRIPE

*Proven Genetic in 2001
*Proven Genetic by BHB
*Genetics: Dom
*Rumors of a Super persist, although I have not heard for sure there is one, nor have I seen pics of a Super Pinstripe.
*Crosses
*Spinner-(Spider x Pinstripe)
*Lemon Blast-(Pastel x Pinstripe)
*Albino Pinstripe

This is the information I have on the Pinstripe, anyone care to elaborate, correct, or post pics of their Pins. Pin cross pics would be much appriciated. Some information procured off of Graziani's site, so I would like to give Greg credit where credit is due.

Why buy a Pinstripe? For me, I like the golden color and the markings, which look like Egyptian Heiroglyphics. I think the Pin can stand easily on their own, against most morphs, and to me, the Lemon Blast is simply amazing, and why I am in this hobby.

Do I own one? Yup, one 06 female, and I do catch myself staring at her once in awhile.

Spinner blast and the chocolate pin....

Perusing my photo collection I know of atleast the following crosses...

Albino Pinstripe
Faded Albino Pinstripe
Pastel Spider Pinstripe
Spider Pinstripe
Chocolate Pinstripe
Super Chocolate Pinstripe
Pastel Chocolate Pinstripe
Hypo Pinstripe
Lesser Platinum Pinstripe
Pastel Pinstripe
Super Pastel Pinstripe

The Pinstripe gene has certainly made its way around so far. In 2007 I fully expect to see Mojave Pins, Cinnamon/Blk Pastel Pins, YellowBelly Pins, Sable Pins, Pewter Pins, and on and on and on.

I am one of those who like the know the story behind the story. How did you find the Pinstripe, what was your emotion when you first saw it in person, what did you think when you saw it from a Pic-I am assuming someone from Africa sent you a pic, but if not, how did you aquire the first Pin? What is your favorite cross?
