Scab on baby corn's head?

Ralf1 Dec 14, 2006 10:26 PM

Hi, I just my first snake. He is an anery corn neonate. When I brought him him home he developed a little red spot on his head on november 11. He just finished shedding with my help and it seems that the spot grew and seems to be scabbing. Does anybody recognize this? Anything I can do to help him heal?

it happens sometimes. He could have rubbed a raw spot on it and it's now healing. I had this happen once to a ball pyhton of mine. Just keep antibiotic ointment (neosporin, polysporin etc) on it and in a couple of sheds it will heal completely. Don't pull off the scab.
