Liquid UVB

cclizardgirl Dec 15, 2006 07:33 PM

Has anyone used this liquid? It is supposed to take the place of actual light generated UVB. Deer Fern Farms talks about it too. I am considering using this instead of worrying about whether or not my light setup is producing enough. I would only use a UVA bulb and a basking source.

It sounds like its vitamin D3...and vitamin D3 from supplements like this can build up in the system and cause an overdose. Vitamin D3 produced from exposure to sunlight/UVB (that does not pass through glass or plastic) can not cause a D3 overdose.
