Do you breed everything, everytime i look, you have a response about how you breed mice/rats/etc?

Do you even have pets, or do you breed just for the heck of it?

I am in no way calling you into question, and like to read what you post. I am mearly pointing our that there are few threads to which yo dont/cant post. I am somewhat impressed at the scale of your breeding.

I am just bored and have been currious about this for a little while. Keep up the good work, and keep helping everyone.

I can answer this one for her. Yep she does. Rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, roaches, crickets......I used to buy my feeders from her before I moved South.

Thanks, I think I sincerely do try to help. And what is the point of having experiences if you can't share them? To me that is the best way to learn too.
And I think it is that I started young (in the 70s)and I am getting old and haven't stopped loving it. That and I am into saving money, and being self sufficient. I own my home, have a tiny bit of room and a wonderful family, including 3 kids who are responsible and helpful. So, yes, I breed, right this second....mice, rats (including dumbos and hairless and blues), russian dwarf hams, gerbils, crix, mealies, waxies, roaches (lobster and hissers)and rabbits will start next month. (I had had a doe, but she is getting on so I am growing up a couple new does.) Enough of each to sell some locally, fill the freezer and swap for what I need. I also have kids (14, 11, 8) that are old enough to help and to have their own pets. So actually, we have pet rats along with breeders. And the breeder rabbits are the kid's pets too. No pets in the other rodents...though we have had them. My middle son had a mouse he taught all sorts of tricks to after watching a 'making of the Green Mile'. We had guinea pigs that bred and lived forever! 9yrs! But nothing I have will ever be big enough to eat bigger than small rabbits or big rats. And the kids did NOT want more GPs.
I have, this year, and largely by trial and error, dumb luck (got the CPs shipped gravid) and accident, bred Ball Pythons, Children's Pythons, Leopard Geckos. Ok, the gex were on purpose.
Next year I hope to breed the BPs, CPs and leos some more as well as have Black ratsnakes, snow corns, and Kenyan sand boas if I could get a male for my girl. And likewise I am getting into Candoia. I have a young male paulsoni and an adult female Viper who I would love to pair off and do something with.
And I do have pets....besides the feeders and species mentioned. I have all the herps and other stuff. It helps that the animals are my hobby, so I don't have other things taking my time....except painting the house and stuff.
