In order I'm 95% sure w/ these.
#1 Reverse Okeetee
#2 Ghost or charcoal
#3 Ghost

>>#1 Reverse Okeetee

I am going to have to disagree with this one.
At least at this time anyway.
I would say typical amel.

TO ME the snake just doesn't have the pronounced white borders I would associate with a reverse okeetee.

As we all know, though, things change as snakes grow so maybe down the road....

let me add....

I think the fact that it gets lighter towards the tail could maybe be mistaken for white bordering but when I look from the head to mid body I just don't see it.
But that's just me and I am by no means trying to say this isn't a nice amel. When I said typical, above, I meant typical coloration. Not that this specimen is lacking in any way.

Yup,that's why I said 95% sure because I'm great w/ most full grown corns but when it comes to baby amel's of some sort, I'm not good at all.

Jimmy, I was thinking the same thing, thats why I said an amel and then two ghosts. I wouldn't go so far as to specify what type of amel.

I agree with herp lover on this one. amel, then two ghosts.
Ghosts vary in color and it looks like you have two different versions.

here are two of mine

Thanks, one more question for you. How do you get your pics so good. I took probably 40 of each snake and I posted the best which are not even that good. Here are my Abbotts Okeetee and my snow

cka Dec 16, 2006 11:54 PM

what type, settings (if any you've used0, etc...that's a start :*)

mullinsn2000 Dec 17, 2006 07:55 AM

The ones posted are with my phone (1.3MP) they came out better than with my camera (5MP) I have tried with and without flash in a well lit are, in a dimmer area, through glass, not through glass. I am terrible at taking pictures.

Your camera should have a macro setting that works well on close up pictures

with a 5 MP digital you should be able to take some very clear pictures.
Try the micro setting as mentioned and I'm sure with a little practice you will get the hang of it.
Do not try to hold the camera too close to the subject.
If the subject isn't clear in the view finder then it will not be clear in the photo.

These two pictures were taken with a 3.2 MP camera

I use a micro setting on my camera. It is represented by a tulip looking picture.
