I never depend on my parents for anything,
everything I have for my geckos I purchased on my own, whether it be the enclosures, the food, the Geckos themselves, etc..
The only thing my parents provide is the house I live in, which is a lot haha. My age doesnt make me any less responsible then anyone else in this industry.

Yes i agree with you but what im saying is did you have a .com if so did it matter if you where under 18?

If you are under 18 your parents would be 100% liable for your actions. If you did something to warrant being sued (or even if it was a bogus lawsuit) your parents would be liable for any damages awarded.

You can't legally form a contract unless you are of the age of the majority, which is 18 in most states

www.itslegal.com/infonet/consumer/contracts.html

Agreements to buy and sell are contracts, which are not enforceable when made with minors excepts for neccessities if life (e.g. food, rent)

Anyone doing business with a minor does not have the same legal rights as someone doing business with someone of age. However, the parents can be held liable for actions of the minor.

with a website designed specifically to sell or promote the sale of your geckos, you would need a business lisence, or else risk fines and penalties. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes.. at least that's what I was told...
