A Question

ginebig Dec 16, 2006 10:20 PM

When putting the male in with the female for breeding how do you manage the hide situation? My male has taken over the ladys humid hide and the only place she has to go is an open sided slab wood hide. Will this be OK? Should I add his hide to the enclosure or remove all of them for the season? Thanks in advance.

if you are planning on leaving them together for good i would add a few more hides. but if it is just for breeding purposes i wouldnt stress to much if you are just leaving him in there for a few days. unless u never see her hid then you may want to add one more anyhow so she feels better.

I put them together just yesterday so I'll give it some time. Just didn't want her stressin' out Thanks.

Yep, just give them time. I have a trio (1.2) that all sleep in the same humid hide.
