Southern hog eating

kfisher29 Dec 17, 2006 12:51 PM

I was feeding my baby southern hogs this morning and snapped a few pics. The whole clutch is eating suprisingly, which is awesome to say the least! I just shove the pinky in the frogs mouth and put it in front of the babies and WHAM! Kevin Fisher

Thanks, they're cuter than a pale of kittens, lol. Kevin

How many did you hatch? They are on my list of hoggies to get, some day. I want to have a complete set- well except for Giant and Speckled. A _small_ set.

I hatched 13 from a wildcaught female that was gravid when I got her. I sold 3 and have a 3.7 ratio left that I'm hoping to raise up. Kevin

How lucky! The only gravid snake i ever caught was a red belly. I hatched the eggs out over the pilot light on my stove, but the babies were _so_ tiny- I just released them.
