I know this isn't the best forum for this question, but nobody answered in the taxonomy forum. How can I get a clean skeleton from a lizard carcass? Will acid do it? Any suggestions?
Thanks

skin it, Boil it, strip off the major meat, find or make a colony of mealworms(yes, mealworms) or domestid beetles. Inspect every few days to make sure they bugs have done too much work. They bleach and glue. unless you like yellow bones, then just glue. Remember, bleach will eat the bones, so be careful. Cheers
use peroxid it whitens with out eating the bone.
