I am purchasing a Bearded Dragon for my son for Christmas. I cant get a responce from the guys in that forum. Do you know of any good breeders? Thanks for your help

Do you need to buy it direct from a breeder? ... My boyfriend boutght his from a reptile store. It didn't put too much of a dent in his wallet. It's understandable you would want to buy direct from a good breeder though.

Anyhow... the only advice I can give to you there is don't get a very small hatchling. They are fragile and can get lethargic and finicky about taking food. Petshops/Reptile shops often sell the babies very young and sometimes they don't make it. A month or two old should be pretty safe. Good luck!

If you're in southern California, LLL Reptile always has some nice beardies. I think you might even be able to order them online, if you're not in SoCal. I'm in there every few days (pinkies for the water dragons) and they've always got beardies, and they're always up and about, watching what's going on.
