A need some help

miklo Dec 18, 2006 10:41 AM

I have a Uromastyx aegyptia (CB)that barely eats. He/she is 2˝ years old, I`ve had him/her for 6 months and during this time he barely eats. Well he/she eats about 3-4 dandelions a day. At first I thought it was normal because it was my first Uro.
Two months ago I bought another aegyptia and he eats at least ten times more then the other one.
What could be wrong whit my Uro?

You should take a fecal sample to your vet to make sure parasites are not an issue. You also did not mention any type of housing specifics, such as size, basking temp, low end temps or ambient temps. What type of diet are you feeding it? If your temps are not right, it does not stimulate normal eating behavior. Has it lost weight? Good luck.
