A couple of simus

Horridus Dec 18, 2006 01:57 PM

While browsing around after posting the previous message about the western, I have seen some of the beautiful simus that you guys have been working with. I thought some of you might want to see this photo that my good friend Mardi Snipes took of a FL locale animal that passed through his hands several years ago. I think it's one of the nicest I have ever seen. Also here's a photo (I cleaned up the graphic damage) of a DOR specimen from GA that I found a couple years ago. Hope you like them.

That is a great snake (the live one)!
You know, I think I have seen that pic before and when I do, it reminds me of a snake I had many years ago when I was like about 10.... and you won't believe the locale of that one..
S. Alabama! It was the one and only that I ever had (or saw) from Alabama. Boy was he red! I have tried to get any info on Alabama simus ever since and there's just not any.
Does anyone here have any record of an Alabama southern??
I'd love to see more of those great red snakes....
Yellow ones too???
Thanks for the pics!
