I only squirt stuff with a hand mister about once a day, and when I have a drip wall or particularly wet paludarium environment, rarely, or not at all. It needs to be sort of personalized. If your tank is humid, between 80 and 100%, and if the top is dripping water, you don't have to mist. If the glass dries off, and seems clear and dry most of the time, or if you are filling brome axils for frog tads, you do need to mist. Too much misting may not be fatal to the frogs, but may be, to certain plants that need a break from being constantly wet. This also depends upon whether you have some sort of active ventilation system or not. You don't really need active fan type ventilation, per se, but if you have it, you will need to mist more often. Keep track of the ambient humidity with a gauge and if it stays within 80 to 100%, without saturating everything, you are O.K. If the plants, such as the bromeliads aren't rotting off, it's O.K. If the epiphytes, such as the bromeliads are cashing in, with limp, soggy leaves, you are over-doing it.

that sounds like a little too much unless u r trying to breed them. i have a leuc and auratus and i mist them every other day. they have a waterfall in their tank so that could be why, but i wouldn't go for more than twoce a day for a minute each time. i might be wrong though. good luck!
