I actually think it may be alive. I just checked temps in TN and dallas and they are not dropping below 40, very cold but not deadly cold. Hopefully it will have gone into a state of hibernation. Snakes are very resilient creatures. Keep us posted

Thanks for the optimism. The little boa is suppose to arrive sometime before noon, with 2pm being the latest. Who knows, she might make it? I need the UPS guy to stay there (as a witness), so I might just tell him it's a "live animal" and leave it at that. Besides, the jump or jolt of enthusiasm (if he or she is a snake enthusiast) might be welcomed as I've been worried for the better part of a week.
