Anyone use this and if so does the sensor go in the tank? My beardie will eat it! lol. He goes after the little remote sensor on my digital thermometer thinking it's a cricket. Hardy little fella.

I have the 'sensor' inside the cage right on top of his basking wood....i have never had a problem with him eating or attacking it/ but he was a sub adult when I started using it....I like using it, the only thing I dont like is it shuts off the lights when it reaches the set temp...then back on, then off, on , off.....lol you get the picture. I wanted one that 'dims' the wattage of the lights so that they stay on...but the 500R is good for the price/.
