1 more hibernation question

Sidney0805 Dec 19, 2006 03:38 PM

Ok, I know I'm a pain in the butt with all my questions, but.......

I finally put my snake down in my basement to hibernate and I'd like to know how long I should leave her down there? I've heard about 4 to 5 weeks, is that ok? I just have the one snake, and I think she's a she. Then when I bring her up, how do I warm her, gradually? or just turn her heat on like usual?

I'd really appreciate any help you guys can give me. You all really seem to know alot about snakes, and you're all helping this novice, first time snake owner, care for my Lacey the right way!

Thanks again!

Cyndi

P.S. Have I mentioned I miss my snake since I put her in the basement..... (I have to go down there a couple times a day to see her)
