We just found a Scarlet Kingsnake here in SouthWest Florida. My daughter wants to keep it (at least long enough to show her classmates after christmas break). I told her we can only keep it if we can find out what to feed it.
It is only around 7" long and seems very narrow. All the google searches tell me is what adult ones eat (mice frogs lizards skinks snakes...) and this snake is too small for any of that. One site told that they eat insects but failed to mention what type.
If anyone can tell me what I can feed this little critter it would be greatly appreciated.
