Iguana Shedding Problem

Collin_Kiessling Dec 19, 2006 08:21 PM

My baby Green Iguana has a shedding problem around its ankle. The sheded skin is hard and the foot is swelling. A cut has developed on the joint area. Any ideas on treatment or remedies?

You can try soaking your lizard in warm water.
I got a large bowl for my girl today and let her soak
She liked it and it seemed to help with her shedding

if the foot is already beginning to swell, that means the blood flow is beginning to be constricted and pressure is raising.

Soak him in warm water and try and peel it off
