My male mali is quite a character and apparently is more observant than I realized. When he askes to come out and run I allow him to tool around the living room.
Sometimes he will climb the furniture but mostly he runs around and then returns to his home once he cools off.
The cage is a large home built thing that rests on the floor and it has a small side door.
Well, long story short, a fews days ago while on a jaunt I noticed the lizard was on the futon. He had eaten all the orange M&M's in a bowl.
I was worried chocolate would be poisonous but he has been fine. I won't be leaving "goodies" out any more.
