I can't find any pics anywhere that look even remotely similar to this new boa my fiance and I rescued..Anyone have any ideas?

and he shed a few days before we got him. He is very iridescent, and at least 7 years old (thats how long the previous owner had him)

. . . like a Mexican Boa, which are typically darker and smaller with much irridecence. Here's a Tarahumara (Mexican) pic. - not a good pic though

Without better pics, I would have to say Central American or Mexican Bci. Nice animal either way...I like em dark like that!

He looks fairly large. He could just be a dark normal and possibly het. albino. Some hets/poss hets are very dark.

...or he could be Central American like everyone else said.

How big is he?

When I answered the ad for the snake the ex wife of the former owner said that her ex always called him a Central American but I've owned a ton of CA's in the past and we have a gorgeous one in our collection now and he is nothing like them. Kelly (Pythona) and I will take more pics of him asap to show you guys how dark and beautiful he really is

Well my snakes serve a second purpose...they keep my family out of my house

These are CA boas. They look nothing like the typical circleback ones.
You may just have a dark (and beautiful I might add) CA boa.
