Australian Water Python *PIC!*

HighEndHerpsInc Dec 22, 2006 09:49 AM

Here's a picture of one of our male australian water pythons. He's an adult breeder. This species is a very interesting species. Very inquisitive and curious, often more interested in you and what you are doing than you are in them. These are certainly a very rewarding species to own. We will post pictures of our babies when they hatch in early 07.

I agree. I have been keeping them for about 9 years, and I think they are very underrated. I have produced trhem 3 years in a row, and I love them. Here are some pics from last season.....

You have very beautiful specimens. Thanks for sharing them. Email me privately if you could as I would like to speak to you more about these amazing snakes.

Beautiful animals. They look like Liasis, right? What's their latin name?
I have a Liasis mackloti that is similar, and probably pretty closely related, but with some different patterning, really tame yet she loves to just cruise around and check out everything. Her favorite thing to to is use your head to get as much height as possible and check out her surroundings.

Yes- Liasis Fuscus.

Sounds like what my olive python does (Liasis Olivaceus). Always on the move, and usually heading UP to check out the surroundings.

All of the Liasis are awesome animals! I want a Savu next!
