I saw the vet yesterday & she said 2 eggs caved in so that still leaves 14.
She said this time they are sitting on her husband's desk instead of the reptile room. That way nobody moves the incubator for cleaning or whatever reason.
We'll see what happens if anything.

How long do they take to hatch?

I wish you the best of luck! I hope that they all hatch, There is plenty of room in your yard.... Just build them a winter shed with heat and you will have a herd that will keep you, your children, their children, and their children's children busy! Im very Pro life when it comes to tortoises. Im glad that you decided not to freeze any of them. My boxy eggs did not make it, I think the mom's first laying... O'well, just wanted to chat, It's been a while!

Thank you & I understand you being prolife with tortoises!
Mel it takes around 3 months for them to hatch.

I'll tell you what my vet said about them if they all hatch.
I have about 6 people lined up who want a baby if they do but that leaves quite a few unspoken for.
My vet said "ok if they all hatch & we don't find homes for all of them then I'll start a turtle tortoise sanctuary & you can sit on the board of directors" LOL!!
She'll keep them all if nobody claims them so I really do not have much of anything to worry about.
