I thought I would share one of my photos. This is my female Albino taken with my Canon 10D. Also thought I'd try out a new logo ideal, feedback welcome.

Beautiful Albino and a great picture. I like your logo also. What software did you use to design it?

Thanks, Photoshop CS2. I have a few more ideals I'am playing with, so have not decided on a final, but that is my wifes favorite.

I like both of them. My wife actually designed my logo, great way to keep them involved...for me anyway.

Thanks Dale, my wife was not crazy about the snakes in the begining, but she has really come around. She is also my toughest critic.

That is an impressive piece of equipment you got! I am purchasing a 20D in the new year and I would like to see some more pictures you've taken. What lense are you using? Post more pics!

DZBReptiles Dec 23, 2006 02:34 PM

Thanks Erik, That was taken with a Canon 28-135mm IS USM lense.
I have only taken a few snake pics, but I will post what I have.
Also maybe a couple of non-snake pics as well.

I like the logo!

Nice Albino too, well above average snake. What lense are you using for your Canon?

Thanks Dave, I will take credit for the logo, but credit for the albino has to go to Matt J. at Monkeyfrog. Check out his
Ultra Breits, AWESOME! The lense I used for that photo is a
Canon 28-135mm IS (Image Stabalized), USM (Ultra Sonic Motor) lense.

Great looking pic and albino, Jeff! How in the world did you get such a perfect pose?!

Matt

DZBReptiles Dec 23, 2006 02:29 PM

Thanks Matt, you would know. You produce nothing but the best.
And the pose; thats lots and lots of super glue, or maybe lots of luck. I need to take some pics of the Borneos and send them to you. They are looking good, but not as fat as the one you sent me.

Thanks, Jeff! Much appreciated.

>>And the pose; thats lots and lots of super glue,

Funny, that's what I was thinking!?!

>>I need to take some pics of the Borneos and send them to you. They are looking good, but not as fat as the one you sent me.

Please do! I'd love to see 'em. Here is one of my holdbacks.

Also, I think the logo, etc. looks good! That camera will surely help with such HIGH quality pics! I might need to invest in another camera sometime in the near future after seeing how nice your pics came out.

All the best-

Matt

Matt, by the way what do you think of the logo and the name.
