Arizona Mt Kings stop eating when?

Ritas Dec 23, 2006 08:42 PM

Hello
we have a baby Arizona Mt king that we bought at reptile show mid summer so far very good eater but read as a whole they go off food during winter and temps should be slowly dropped by shutting UTH off .

Any input/advice ? So far he is eating well

Thanks

Sometimes you get lucky and their bodyclock doesn't kick in.
If it's eating, keep on feeding. Good Luck!

I would not cool a baby snake, If he is still eating let him eat and keep him at normal temps.

Thank you both. I should have asked if he keeps on eating does he still need to be 'brumated" for health since he is a MT king .
You both answered my question right on the mark . I am not a breeder just a hobbyiest so glad as long as he eats no problem . Must say got lucky as he is a big eater .

Happy Holdidays thanks again

Rita
