Is a steady 80% humidity ok for Rainbow Boas? I was able to maintain 90% for a few days, but it's settled down to 80% now. Thing is, I've heard conflicting opinions. Some say 75%, some 80%, some 90% or more.
Thanks!

My girl has lived well at 80degrees and 80%. Nice donut sheds, healthy the whole time. She has always shied away from anything warmer. Though less so as she gets older. She is about a year now and was 168grams today. Eats anything I offer as long as it is warm enough. Not a glamour shot...but to gauge size. This was today too.

Sonya,
Thanks for the input, and the picture! How old is she? What's she eating, and how often?
Thanks,
David

She is just over a year and had a slow start. They were little guys in this first clutch from a friends snake. Anyway, she is now taking anything in the 15-20 gram range....so big hopper mice, rat pups, small russian dwarf hamsters, she loves them all. I think, ironically that she will eat anything after starting slow and only taking certain things. For the longest time only the RDHams or things scented with them. Now she is just jumping into growth.
Here is a more fav pict of her. In one of her rare still moments.

I have an odd brb. She has no eyes!!! I keep her at room temp, 85 daytime high and 75 nighttime. Her humidity is kept around 80% now. In the winter it can get down to 60%. She has never had a shed problem. I keep her on bed a best as a substrate, and put sphagmum moss in her hide. Don't know her weight off the top of my head but have to say well in excess of 500 grams, and she is probably almost 4 feet long. She is about 1 year old exactly. She got fed weekly for the most part. Right now she is taking down med rats. I have cut her feeding back to every two weeks now because she has been occasionally not eating when offered weekly.
